Hello parents especially mothers who are facing the problem of kids speech delay.
I will share with you all one by one my experiences with my son.
My son is turning 3 and half next month and still I am waiting to listen the precious words "Mamma" or "Papa" from his lips. He has not yet started the clear words although he is able to communicate through sign language and all sort of tantrums to get his work done, but not putting an effort to speak.
There is no hearing problem as test reports are all normal. Consulted with the pediac also but same answer that everything is normal and not to worry as it is common problem of speech delay.
As a parent I am concerned more for my son as days are passing by and he is not able to join the play group.
I want to share with you all about my son`s problem and require suggestions to end up in good results.
It started from the day 1 when my son was born. It was the proud moment of my life to become a mother. I was on the top of the world and feeling blessed.
Days were passing quickly and my son was doing good health wise and in term of activeness but there was something that was bothering me.. He did not do eye to eye contact although he was reacting and responding to all sorts of sounds but whenever we look into his eyes, he look somewhere else. He did not react to others holding him or pampering him or passing smile to him...instead he started crying in loud pitch. It was getting very difficult for anyone entering our house as he started crying when he saw any stranger coming into our house...I was not able to take him out to anybody`s house or mall and wait for the time when he falls asleep.
